Research Program:
My primary research interest is to
further our understanding of brain and behavioral
development in individuals with autism. As a result, my research is focused
on social-emotional and language development. I take a strongly developmental
approach, so most of my research involves assessing young children who have
been diagnosed with autism and infants who are at high risk for developing
autism.
Techniques I use in my research include event-related potentials (1, 2), visual psychophysics (1, 2), eye-tracking (1),
and clinical and experimental behavioral
assessments (1, 2). To learn more about some of my current and
previous research, places I have been trained, and the people I collaborate
with, please follow the links listed below.
