Duties: Trained all incoming graduate students in how to be effective Graduate Teaching Assistants for undergraduate courses. Provided training to all graduate students in effective public speaking, preparing lectures, leading discussions, using internet teaching tools, interacting with students in office hours, grading, diversity issues, and sexual harassment policy. Disseminated teaching related resources provided by the Center for Teaching Development, UCSD. Served as mediator between Teaching Assistants and Faculty when necessary.
